Riding a bike through Paris sounds like suicide at first, and it will feel like it for the first couple of hours, too. You'll get used to the kamikaze bike and scooter riders and the general absence of law on the streets and Bikelanes of Paris after a couple of hours of riding and it will be a blast to break traffic laws together with the never ending stream of four, two and one wheeled vehicles.
You can't go wrong with rentabike Paris. I hired a very nice city bike for a reasonable price for two days. Helmet included!
The drop-off is very flexible with their non-contact option.

Loved our bike experience in Paris! Bikes were delivered early and ready for us- communication with Leon was excellent and bikes worked really well.
We cycled out to the Palace de Versailles which ended up taking longer than expected because of having to stop at red lights (and photo opportunities!!). Great way to see the city and lots of bike lanes so always felt quite safe despite the traffic.
Would definitely recommend.

Renting a bike for the day was the best decision I made during my trip to Paris. Cycling is hands down the best way to see the city and save your legs and feet from walking everywhere.
I was initially unsure if I was in the right place when I showed up to the address on the website without a reservation — there is no storefront at the street level — but when I called the number, Leo came right down to meet me and got me set up. His English is great.
Returning the bike was also simple and easy. Thank you so much for making my visit to Paris great! Cheers!
